I have decided to have an early litter this year. The main reason I was planning to breed my does in December was because of the heat. I was just reading about the extremely snowy winter we are supposed to have this winter so I think I should get started before it gets too cold out. Don’t get me wrong… it will still be cold, but not as cold.
So if you’re reading this and have been interested in purchasing French Angora rabbits, just know that I will be expecting a litter in the first week of November. Which means babies ready to leave the Rabbitry in the first week of January instead of the usual March dates. We’ll see how it goes. We are depending on Dandelion here and if you remember last year, it took her three tries.
Check out our Rabbitry page for more information on who will have what and when.
